Design Your Cabin Online and See It in Your Colors
CHESNEE, S.C. — Sweet-Haus Tiny Cabin Company has recently launched its online design tool. Customers can choose the finishes for any cabin in the Sweet-Haus lineup, see the price change with every choice, and send in their build, all from a computer or phone.
The tool’s centerpiece is a picture of the cabin that repaints as customers choose. Pick a siding color, a trim color, a roof, window frames or decking, and the house on screen changes to match, keeping the light and shadow of the original photograph. On models with a porch, switching between Vertical, Hogwire and Horizontal railings changes the railing in the picture. Real cedar stays real cedar, and a painted accent wall takes on the look of the siding around it.
The repainting picture is available today on the Modern Farmhouse, the Modern Farmhouse 1 Bedroom and 2 Bedroom Modular, the Acadia and the Tinde. More models are coming. On the rest of the lineup, customers can price and submit a build the same way, with the cabin’s photograph shown alongside.
Sweet-Haus offers seven models, with starting prices from $115,000 to $189,000. Delivery and setup are not included.
Beyond the exterior, the tool covers the inside of the home: wall and ceiling colors, flooring, cabinets, countertops, sinks, shower and electrical service, along with add-ons and setup options for each model. The running price updates as each choice is made, so customers know where their build stands before they talk to anyone.
A live preview of the interior is in development, so customers will soon see their wall colors, flooring, cabinets and countertops inside the home the same way.
When a design is ready, customers submit it and get a summary of their build by email. From there they can move straight to a proposal, pay their deposit electronically, and see their cabin go into the production queue. What used to take rounds of calls, emails and paperwork now happens in one place, from the first color choice to the start of the build.
“Buying a home shouldn’t take weeks of back-and-forth just to learn what it costs,” said Todd Garland, co-founder and CEO of Sweet-Haus. “We believe this is the most in-depth design tool in the tiny home industry, and the first to take a customer from choosing colors to paying a deposit and getting a place in production.”
No account or appointment is needed to start. Design your cabin, or explore the models first.
