Established in 2021, Sweet-Haus was born out of a recognition of a gap in the tiny home/affordable housing industry. The founders were determined to contribute to the burgeoning movement towards sustainable and minimalist living. Identifying deficiencies in quality, innovation, production, and overall customer experience, they saw an opportunity to revolutionize the industry.
Initial market research and firsthand experiences unveiled prevalent issues such as poor quality, subpar customer service, and outdated construction practices. To address these concerns, Sweet-Haus strategically assembled a team of experts boasting over 25 years of manufacturing experience. Their collective commitment was clear: consistently deliver excellence, prioritize ethical practices, and offer customers an unparalleled experience. They pledged unwavering support for their product, irrespective of warranty constraints, and vowed to contribute to the community as servant leaders.
Taking a forward-thinking approach, Sweet-Haus streamlined processes to construct the highest quality cabins in the market. The success of this approach is evident in Sweet-Haus cabins, typically under 400 square feet, designed to be easily transported and set up on trailers or mobile platforms. True to their commitment, Sweet-Haus is already expanding its offerings with "The Homestead Series," a line of small innovative homes approximately 600 square feet in size, built on a similar mobile platform.
Looking ahead, Sweet-Haus has exciting developments in the pipeline, including the introduction of the maintenance-free product called "EZ-HAUS®", set to launch in June 2023 and applicable across the platform. Additionally, the company is in the final stages of construction of the first Sweet-Haus Tiny home communities, scheduled to commence early 2024. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!

“It's really come full circle with Sweet-Haus. I had already designed close to 600 custom small spaces so I poured all of that experience into one really great platform, The Inspiration Series. What’s exciting is that the plan really works on all levels… A fully functional tiny house to live in, a VRBO, mother-n-law suite, or second home. And the feedback from customers has been off the charts! But what it really boils down to is the quality of our product and the customer experience. In this industry we found that there are a lot of shortcuts, poor quality, and really terrible customer service. We actually appreciate our customers and enjoy working with them. We have more than one person that can help with sales at any given moment. So if the salesperson is out, anyone can help. We don't do punch lists. Our punch list are done internally before the customers see the cabin. It's also really important to listen to our customers and continually improve the customer experience and forward thinking ideas."
Todd also has a Real Estate Brokers license in SC and NC and has experience in land development. Sweet-Haus is already designing new prototypes, a luxury HUD home, and the company is the only RVIA certified tiny home builder in South Carolina. Sweet-Haus already has its first tiny home community in the works.
