Founded in 2021, the owners of Sweet-Haus felt there was a void in the tiny home/ affordable housing industry and knew they wanted to be a part of the growing movement towards sustainable and minimalist living. They understood that the void was in quality, new products, production, and the overall customer experience. We realized we had an opportunity to disrupt the status quo and change the industry for the better. During our initial market research and some first hand experience, we found poor quality, bad customer service, and antiquated build practices. We assembled an all-star team with a combined 25+ years of manufacturing experience. We agreed that we would always strive to do our very best and treat people right. We would always be forward thinking and give customers the best possible experience. We would stand behind our product no matter what our warranty says. We would give back to the community and be servant leaders. Lastly, we would never balance our checkbook off our customers or vendors backs. The rest was easy— we put the processes in place to build the highest quality cabin on the market. The approach worked! Sweet-Haus cabins are typically less than 400 square feet and built on a trailer or mobile platform, Allowing them to be easily transported and set up in a variety of locations. Sweet-Haus is keeping its promise and already developing new HUD prototypes called "The Homestead Series" line of small innovative homes. These will be approximately 600 square feet and built on a similar mobile platform. We are also developing a Maintenance free "lifetime product" called EZ-HAUS® that will be available in June 23. And we are in final negotiations for the first Sweet-Haus Tiny home communities slated to start construction this fall. Stay Tuned!

“It's really come full circle with Sweet-Haus. I had already designed close to 600 custom small spaces so I poured all of that experience into one really great platform, The Inspiration Series. What’s exciting is that the plan really works on all levels… A fully functional tiny house to live in, a VRBO, mother-n-law suite, or second home. And the feedback from customers has been off the charts! But what it really boils down to is the quality of our product and the customer experience. In this industry we found that there are a lot of shortcuts, poor quality, and really terrible customer service. We actually appreciate our customers and enjoy working with them. We have more than one person that can help with sales at any given moment. So if the salesperson is out, anyone can help. We don't do punch lists. Our punch list are done internally before the customers see the cabin. It's also really important to listen to our customers and continually improve the customer experience and forward thinking ideas."
Todd also has a Real Estate Brokers license in SC and NC and has experience in land development. Sweet-Haus is already designing new prototypes, a luxury HUD home, and the company is the only RVIA certified tiny home builder in South Carolina. Sweet-Haus already has its first tiny home community in the works.
